Nestled between the ancient Via Aurelia and the sea of San Vincenzo, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in the Tuscan Upper Maremma, Podere San Michele has been telling its story for more than seventy years.
Founded in the years following World War II as a small family-run estate, today it is managed by the third generation, who continue to uphold the values of tradition, respect for the land and a constant commitment to quality.
Every wine is the result of the harmonious balance between experience, nature and artisanal craftsmanship, expressing the authentic identity of this corner of the Etruscan Coast.

From the vineyard to the winery
The estate’s vineyards are planted with Syrah, Sangiovese, Viognier and Cabernet Sauvignon, cultivated using sustainable practices that respect the natural balance of the environment.
The grapes are still harvested entirely by hand, and every stage of production follows the rhythms of nature, with minimal intervention both in the vineyard and in the winery.
The wines are then aged in oak barrels, a process that enhances their complexity, structure and elegance while preserving the unique character of each vintage.
Alongside its wines, the estate also produces extra virgin olive oil from hand-harvested native olive varieties and a Grappa Riserva made from carefully selected grape pomace.

Wine tastings and the flavours of Tuscany
Podere San Michele welcomes visitors to its winery for an authentic food and wine experience in the heart of the Etruscan Coast.
Guided tastings introduce guests to the estate’s wines, extra virgin olive oil and Grappa Riserva, accompanied by a selection of artisan cheeses, traditional cured meats and other locally sourced specialties.
In the estate’s new tasting room, every experience becomes a journey through the aromas, flavours and unique characteristics of the local territory, exploring the close connection between the soil, the sea, the vineyards and the winery.
Guided tours and tastings are available by reservation for individuals and groups.
