A family story in the heart of the Val di Cornia
The origins of Azienda Agricola Petricci e del Pianta date back to the early 20th century, when the Petricci family planted their first vineyards in San Lorenzo, in the heart of the Val di Cornia.
From those beginnings, a family-run winery has grown, where Pietro, Marilena and their children continue to produce wines that express the authenticity, quality and character of the local territory.
Over the years, the family’s experience has been complemented by the expertise of winemaker Marco Stefanini, whose contribution has helped refine every stage of production, from vineyard management to winemaking.

Vineyards, olive groves and respect for the land
The estate covers 22 hectares, including 11 hectares of vineyards and around 1,000 olive trees, all managed with great care for the environment.
The vineyards are trained using the spur cordon system, with approximately 4,800 vines per hectare, while plant protection treatments are carried out only when strictly necessary, limiting the use of pesticides and reducing environmental impact.
Alongside its wines, the estate also produces extra virgin olive oil, grappa and sparkling wine, all authentic expressions of the agricultural traditions of the Val di Cornia.

Wine, olive oil and local flavours
The winery welcomes guests for guided tastings dedicated to the wines of Suvereto and the Val di Cornia, accompanied by tastings of the estate’s extra virgin olive oil and local specialties.
Each experience is designed to showcase the local territory through its aromas, flavours and most representative products. During the visit, guests can discover the winery, learn about the work carried out in the vineyards and cellar, and explore the close connection between wine, olive oil and the surrounding landscape.
Available by reservation for groups of up to 30 people, the tastings are ideal both for wine enthusiasts and for anyone wishing to enjoy an authentic experience in the heart of the Val di Cornia, surrounded by nature, tradition and conviviality.
Tasting sessions are available from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
