Foglie d’Etruria
The art of eco-printing inspired by nature
Foglie d’Etruria offers workshops dedicated to eco-printing, an ancient botanical printing technique that uses leaves, flowers, roots and other plant materials to create unique designs on fabric and paper.
Each experience is based on a sustainable approach and a deep respect for nature, using only plants collected along the Etruscan Coast. It is an opportunity to discover how the colours, shapes and pigments of plants can be transformed into authentic works of art.
The workshops are designed for anyone who wishes to explore natural dyeing techniques and enjoy a creative activity in harmony with the environment.

Silk eco-print workshop
The main experience consists of creating a silk scarf printed with leaves and dye plants using the eco-printing technique.
Following a short introduction, participants are guided through every stage of the creative process, from preparing the fabric and arranging the botanical composition to transferring the natural prints onto the silk. Every piece is one of a kind, shaped by the unique characteristics of the plants and the creativity of each participant.
At the end of the workshop, everyone takes home their own botanical silk scarf, together with practical tips for continuing to experiment with natural dyeing techniques.
