+ WHEN DOES THE VAL DI CORNIA TOUR BUS SERVICE START AND END?
From 1 August 2022 until 2 September 2022.

+ WHAT ARE THE PLANNED ROUTES FOR THE VAL DI CORNIA TOUR BUS?

  • DAY-TIME TOUR: The ring route runs from Campiglia Marittima to the Archeological Park of Baratti, passing through the town of Venturina Terme, in close proximity to the spas. The bus then continues towards the natural park of Rimigliano, along the via della Principessa towards San Vincenzo. The next stop then is the Parco Archeominerario di San Silvestro with its Temperino mine and then back to Campiglia Marittima, recently voted as one of the most beautiful towns of historical interest in Italy: “Borghi più Belli d’Italia“.
  • EVENING TOUR: This again is a ring route departing from San Vincenzo and finishing in San Vincenzo. The same route is followed as during the day-time run, but in the opposite sense. Baratti is excluded from the evening run. 

+ WHAT IS THE COST OF THE VOUCHER?
The voucher is FREE and only valid for one day and can be used to enjoy the various tourist attractions in the area by hopping on and off the bus as desired provided a reservation has been made beforehand. Minors can travel on the bus only if accompanied by a parent or a person of at least 18 years with parental authorisation.

+ WHERE DO I BOOK THE VOUCHER?

  • The voucher can only be booked online here.
  • It cannot be booked on the bus.
  • The voucher will be sent to the client's email address (mobile phone) after the online purchase.
  • There is no need to print the voucher as the client can show his/her mobile phone to the bus driver to board the bus. 

+ HOW MANY BUS RUNS ARE THERE?
There are two (2) daily runs with the bus operating from 09.30 until 17.45. The map of the routes can be found here. 

+ WHAT IS THE CAPACITY OF THE TOUR BUS?
Max. capacity is set at 24.

+ HOW LONG DOES THE TRIP LAST?
The day-time run lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. The evening run lasts 1 hour.

+ WHAT IS YOUR LUGGAGE POLICY?
If you are in possession of a voucher, then you have the right to carry on one piece of hand luggage free of charge (max 5 kg) that must either fit on your lap or under the seat in front of you. It is important that your luggage does not cause any obstruction on the bus and that it is not used to occupy a seat or seats. The luggage must not contain articles or substances on board our services that could pose a risk to health, safety, property or the environment. These include, but are not limited to firearms, explosives, live animals (except for guide dogs, hearing dogs or helping dogs), gas cylinders, flammable liquids and solids, poisons, radioactive materials, infectious substances such as bacteria and viruses, corrosives such as mercury, acids, alkalis, and wet-cell batteries.

You can bring a buggy, pushchair or stroller with you, which must be folded up and stowed in the hold whilst you are travelling. Luggage in the hold of the bus must have a label with at least your name, surname and mobile phone number. Luggage without a tag will not be accepted.

All personal items are carried entirely at your own risk. Please remember to take all your personal belongings with you when descending from the bus.

+ POLICY REGARDING THE DISABLED OR THOSE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

+ WHAT IS THE POLICY REGARDING CARRYING CHILDREN SAFELY?
Children under three years old can only travel on the bus if they are carried in an appropriate child car seat. The bus does not provide child seats.

+ ARE PETS ALLOWED ON THE BUS?
Pets are allowed. Dogs must have a muzzle and be on a leash.
